Meet the team

Dr. Aju Mathew

Dr. Aju Mathew is an American Board-certified medical oncologist and hematologist in Kochi. He is currently working at the MOSC Medical College (a rural medical college) and the Ernakulam Medical Centre (a private urban centre). He is also a senior medical advisor for the Karkinos Healthcare, a cancer care start-up aiming to set up distributed cancer care centres across India. He is also a consultant at the Trivandrum Institute for Palliative Sciences, a WHO centre for palliative medicine. Previously, he was an attending physician at the National Cancer Institute-designated Markey Cancer Center of the University of Kentucky. He was also the Co-Director of the Hematology/Oncology fellowship training program. After graduating in medicine from the Government Medical College Trivandrum in Kerala, he has attained further training in Cambridge University (epidemiology) in England, Karolinska Institute (molecular biology) in Sweden and University of Pittsburgh (residency in internal medicine and fellowship in hematology/medical oncology). He has published in major high impact journals in the field of medicine. He has also received awards from the American Society of Clinical Oncology and American Association of Cancer Research for his scholarly work.

Dr Apurva Pandey

Dr. Pandey specializes in caring for cancer patients with solid organ tumors and hematological diseases, with an emphasis on breast cancer.She did her M.D. in 2013 from American University of Antigua , Residency Internal Medicine from University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 2016, Fellowship in Hematology/Oncology from University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 2019 . Her certifications include  American Board of Internal Medicine 2016 , American Board of Internal Medicine, Hematology 2019 , American Board of Internal Medicine, Oncology 2019 .She is a member of American Society of Clinical Oncology and American Society of Hematology.Outside of work, Dr. Pandey enjoys travel and hiking as well as sports like basketball and beach volleyball. She likes to cook, sing and paint nature scenes.

Dr.Amrutha TS

Dr.Amrutha TS is a community oncology officer in Kochi. She is currently working in Rajagiri Hospital, Kochi. After graduating in Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Mangalore in 2015 she has attained further training in Palliative Oncology ( Pallium India ) , Cancer Screening ( National Institute of Cancer Prevention) and Tobacco Control (Johns Hopkins) . She has overall experience of 6 years in community oncology.

Dr. Manas Peter

Dr. Manas Peter is an accomplished Oncology Pharmacologist and Oncology Clinical Coordinator at Ernakulam Medical Centre, located in Palarivattom, Kochi. He serves as a Technical Assistant at Mazumdar Shaw Medical Foundation in Bengaluru, Karnataka. As a co-investigator on a research project, he actively contributes to advancements in medical science,Furthermore, Dr. Peter holds the position of Pharmacy Advisor at Meeval in Kochi.Dr. Peter earned his Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) degree from Dr. MGR Medical University in Chennai. He is also an active member of the Doctor of Pharmacy Association, where he serves on the Executive Committee.With a passion for patient care, medical research, and pharmacy education, Dr. Manas Peter is dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the lives of those affected by cancer.
